Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of Eka s team. Would be responsible to perform software quality testing on applications developed for and deployed to multiple operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, Linux, UNIX). Requirements: Ideal candidate would be the one who is self-directed and well organized. Must be a team player who collaborates with team members and is open to others ideas. Should be innovative and demonstrate thoroughness and accuracy to ensure quality. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism, strong English verbal and written skills, positive attitude, strong work ethic and good judgement. Must have the ability to present information effectively and must be capable of interpreting written technical documentation. Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and must be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. AWS, Azure or Google public cloud experience in a production environment is a plus. Experience with testing methodologies and techniques. Experience in UI testing and Agile software development methodologies. Working Knowledge of black box and white box testing. Understanding and experience with SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches. Understanding of web applications: HTML, Ext JS, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, HTTP protocol, cookies/ sessions, browser differences, web services. Track record of building and maintaining excellent working relationships with peers, estimating schedules and meeting deadlines. Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs. Demonstrated competence in documenting product information and communicating it to others. Exposure in Mobile application testing in Agile environment (Mobile / Tablets / Mobile Simulator). Exposure on Mobile Application Testing using tools like Appium, Calabash, Ruby, etc. Hands-on experience with Selenium Web driver. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools. Scripting experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript/ Python/ Shell scripts. AWS Certification is preferred. Exposure on automation tools to test interfaces between systems and applications such as RESTful services or other APIs.,
