The individual will perform new development as well as support enhancements to a complex business application.Successful candidate needs to possess deep hands-on technical expertise in building large scale enterprise application and databases using technologies like Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate etc. Essential to the role is in-depth Salesforce knowledge, experience and accreditationYoull have the following responsibilities
• Support and enable delivery and maintenance of various applications and solutions on Salesforce.com Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Force.com platform
• Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Salesforce projects to design solutions, provide technical walkthrough to Salesforce developers and Product Owners
• Provide technical leadership on projects by providing necessary guidance to junior team members (onsite and offshore) to follow best practices
• Should have hands on knowledge of salesforce implementation and proven ability to deliver complex stories with best practice as per salesforce recommendation.
• Accountable for technical delivery - Build, System Testing handover/co-ordination, Tech. documentation and deployment activities
• Play lead in reviewing Epics/User-stories, convert functional requirements to technical requirements, estimate user stories, plan team capacity and work closely with Scrum Master to finalize Sprint scope
• Ability to analyse/identify gaps in functional/business requirements, discuss with product owners on required changes that aligns with the product stack and architecture
• Develop end-to-end solutions using configuration and customization using APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc.
• Build integrations external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On
• Migrate changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins and ANT
• Define code review methodology, perform independent code reviews and certify code developed by self and other junior team members on the project.
• Manage risks and issues as well as cross dependencies with other teams.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and client to address technical design and functional gaps
• Ability to effectively debug and resolve technical issues and/or defects which may be reported because of faults in the system.
• Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required.
• Collaborate with Partners and partner resources onsite and offshore to deliver high quality solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage agile task assignments
• Enhance efficiency of dev/test/release process - develop tools, frameworks as required.
• Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs
Youll have the following skills & experience
• 5 + years of total IT experience with at least 3+ years of Salesforce project development experience
• Experience working with Partners at both onsite and offshore model.
• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com Platform
• Hands on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes etc.
• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
• Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms.
• Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies. Experience with Lightning component will be preferred.
• Proven integration experience using integration techniques - REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On
• Knowledge of and experience performing and managing Product/System Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.
• A thorough understanding of Salesforce Deployment Process and tools such as ANT, Change Sets and Force.com IDE
• Good experience in project delivery including vendors.
• Strong in designing & development in Core Java/J2EE/ applications
• Ability to do deep dive on technical areas and get the best outcome out of technically challenging situations.
• Technically strong and trouble shooting in Java, J2EE, microservice, Angular based applications
• Experience in cloud native application development
• Working knowledge of test driven development, ability to use refactoring techniques, performance tuning of application and automated test script development
• Experience in microservice development (serverless)
• Experience UI framework Angular based application development
• Basic understanding of performance tuning, jconsole etc.
• Conceptual understanding of Load balancers, DNS, server scaling.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in AGILE methodology of development
• Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion, GIT, Dynatrace, Mobius etc.
• Knowledge of algorithms & data structures.
• Excellent programming and debugging skills
• Experience in developing server side solutions using component frameworks
• Proven analytical & problem solving skills
• Experience in use of continuous integration and automated code quality tools like CheckStyle, Junit etc.
• Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest optimal solutions
• Experience in technical of complex project deliveries end-to-end with matrix managed structure.
• Experience developing and designing Enterprise Application development Projects both from an Engineering and Project Management perspective
• Self starter who can lead the way by setting up prototypes for vendor technical teams to follow
• Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards.
• Experience in Devops.
• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech
• Possess typically 5 - 7 years of previous software engineering or related experience
• Strong Java/J2EE, Microservice, Docker and Kubernatis
• Provide technical and functional guidance and direction to team members
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
