Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Technical lead for the team.
  • Work independently with very little supervision.
  • Produce quality code where code review process is largely reduced to functional issue tracking.
  • Perform regular code reviews.
  • Proactively identify gaps in all processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs, etc. and provide recommendations on how to resolve.
  • Work closely with business analyst, quality assurance, and project management resources throughout delivery of solutions.
  • Solid People Management skills and the ability to participate as a leader within a global development team. Experience mentoring and grooming future talent.

  • The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should be a good team player and ready to collaborate with various technology teams across the firm as part of day to day work.

Qualifications:
  • BachelorsDegree in an engineering field (B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A) with 12+ years experience inArchitecture and Software Development of applications.
  • Verystrong analytical and problem solving skills, with good decision makingabilities.
  • Verygood written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strongfocus on high quality deliverables meeting tight deadlines.
  • Creativeproblem solver and solution developer when presented with conflictingrequirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
  • Culturallysensitive in a role that spans regions and time zones.
  • Anagile mindset and a broad skillset - willing to do whatever it take to help theteam deliver
Required Technical Skills:
  • Minimum12-15 years of continuous J2EE development experience on large/medium sized projects.
  • Provenexperience in building/enhancing business critical systems.
  • Strongfamiliarity with design patterns, micro services and object-orientedprinciples like SOLID.
Followingtechnology experience is must have:
  • Verystrong fundamentals on Core Java 8 (Lambdas, streams etc.).
  • Strongknowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Enterprisescale messaging experience in Kafka/JMS or derived JMS technologies.
  • Spring Boot, Spring IOC, Spring Cloudstack and Spring Junits is a must.
  • Automatedunit testing and mocking frameworks (mockito, cucumber etc.).
  • Relationaldatabase, PL/SQL experience, (Oracle preferred).
  • Workingknowledge of continuous integration environment with technologies like Jenkins/Jules.
  • Experienceon linux environment is a must.
Followingtechnology experience is strongly desirable
  • Experiencein a distributed messaging technology like Kafka.
  • Applicationdevelopment experience in cloudenvironment will be an added advantage.
  • Workingknowledge on Cassandra or any other No SQL DB.
  • Workingknowledge on JavaScript libraries like AngularJS, Jquery.
