Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesHi,Hope you are doing fine!Opening for Software - Test Engineer- Gateway & cloud with US based MNC- Bangalore (Basavangudi)Know about the Company- Hussmann is a leader in providing display merchandisers, refrigeration systems, installation and services to food retailers around the world. the company is a product & US based MNC having a engineering team in India and Panasonic is the parent company.Position: Software - Test Engineer- Gateway & cloud CTC: 5 LPAExperience: 3 to 5 YearsQualification: BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or CSE/ ITWork from office
    • 1.0 Software - Test Engineer- Gateway & cloud
    • 1.1 Responsibilities
    • 1.1.1 The Software Test Engineer (Gateway & cloud) will develop apt test cases from functional requirement to implement detailed test specifications and test plan by working with software development team and project team of bothgateway & Cloud.
    • 1.1.2 Create tests for existing functionality and create additional tests for new hardware and software features covering positive & Negative scenarios.
    • 1.1.3 Work with equipment testing team to design and create test conditions and scripts to address functional and technical aspects.
    • 1.1.4 Work with the project team and third parties in specifying/building the test equipment for gateway & Cloud.
    • 1.2 Skill set
    • 1.2.1 Experience in testing of PC application and Web application
    • 1.2.2 Test experience in application developed in Linux , kali-linux, or Ubuntu.
    • 1.2.3 Test experience in AWS or Azure especially around confirming Cloud Architecture.
    • 1.2.4 Test experience in Cloud Security is must .
    • 1.2.5 Cloud data base (Amazon Time series, SQL ) testing experience is must
    • 1.2.6 Cloud virtual machine testing experience
    • 1.2.7 Experience in Agile methodology
    • 1.2.8 Proficient in different test methodologies (Functional, Integration, System testing, Smoke, Sanity, Regression & retesting).
    • 1.2.9 Experience in designing Simulator test setup
    • 1.2.10 Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, RS485, BACnet or CANis added advantage.
    • 1.2.11 Testing the software program using Software simulation tools like Mat labor Lab view is added advantage.
    • 1.3 General Requirements
    • 1.3.1 Good Attitude to learn and progress
    • 1.3.2 Good Communication Skills
    • 1.3.3 Good trouble shooting skills
    • 1.3.4 Good analysis oriented with an eye for details
    • 1.3.5 Team Player
    • 1.4 Qualification & Other Requirements
    • 1.4.1 BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or CSE/ IT .
    • 1.4.2 3~5 Yrs Experience in software Testing- Web/ PC application
