We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel. This is a Solution Architect role, reporting to the IS Service Manager in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Bangalore and will be responsible for providing the overall architectural leadership for the development and management of applications related to domain (including country applications). You will be also responsible for leading and supporting Enterprise Architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions and responsible for plainly mapping out and connecting various elements that make up the application landscape, establishing an effective coordination between all parts and is involved in all significant decisions regarding structure, interfaces, constraints and trade-offs.Your responsibilities

• Leading the overall solution design at Quotation (Apttus CQP) level ensuring integrity of different modules (Sales, Quotation (Apttus CQP), CLM (Apttus CLM) & integrations with External Systems.
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributing to technical, functional design. Provide expertise to business process owners, operation support or project teams.
• Ensuring that solutions delivered by projects fit well into overall platform and application architecture.
• Cooperating with other Solution Architects to ensure consistent design of Salesforce Platform.
• Cooperating with Service Owner to ensure quality and stability of Quote module.
• Supporting Business Owners on business requirements and perform business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions to support decisions for new or changed IS solution/services.
• Collecting, documenting and reviewing business requirements from business owners
• Providing a good understanding of product and business owner needs, transparency and continual engagement.
• Understanding the customer journey and business value realization.
• Defining solutions fulfilling customer requirements, ensuring leverage of best practices.
• Ensuring functional specification from project teams supports an overall solution design.
• Sharing solution design principles and architecture with business stakeholders.
• Leading continuous development and innovation of solution to enable increased solution value realization.
• Building and maintaining integration approaches between functional modules of the platform in Quote area (integration design, documentation, information/data flow).

• Master s degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT, Salesforce Development & Architecture.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Apttus, Conga products and Mulesoft.
• Extensive IT experience in architecture or other relevant role e.g. Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, IT Engagement, IT Infrastructure, IT Security.
• Excellent experience in demand management.
• Strong software architecture skills, preferably across multiple applications or domains.
• Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies.
• Strong technical know-how - understanding of a broad range of technologies and their applicability.
• Sound knowledge of architecture discipline and methods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, to self-manage and exercise a high level of initiative and equally be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to formulate structure in situations of ambiguity.
