Job Description

Responsibilities will include cross-functional program management to qualify new components and suppliers, supporting issues with current production, developing new suppliers to reduce cost, increase capacity, and auditing suppliers to ensure process conformance.
Ensuring delivery as per the plans
Liasoning with the senior stakeholders and working closely with different functions to ensure the highest level of efficiency
Managing a team of 6-8 professionals (across sourcing, vendor development and procurement) and responsibility for their growth in the organization

Job Requirements:

B.E. / B.Tech with 8-10 years of experience in sourcing / strategic sourcing and vendor development in engineering / manufacturing / automotive industry with good negotiations skills
Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Hands on / in depth knowledge of APQP, PPAP, VA/VE, supplier component development and approval and supplier cost improvements, supplier validation audits etc.
