Job Description

    *We are looking for Sr CAE Analyst to work in the area of EV technologies for commercial vehicles. He/She will work closely on CFD simulations for various e-powertrain components. Our ideal candidate would have a good understanding of the fluid mechanics & thermal basics with good expertise in CFD softwares. Strong fundamentals in automotive domain with good working knowledge of Excel, python, scripting.Major Responsibilities:
    • Strong understanding of fluid flow, heat transfer and computational fluid dynamics
    • Co-ordinate and perform powertrain CFD simulations in star-CCM+.
    • Should take responsibility and ownership of deliverables. Communicate results clearly to working group.
    • Show case high level of confidence in simulation results by adopting best practices, guidelines, appropriate assumptions and required simplifications. Suggest recommendations to solve issues.
    • Perform correlation studies between simulated results and physical tests.
    • Develop robust simulation processes in place to reduce the dependency on physical tests.
    • Perform optimization studies with a mindset of continuous improvement/innovation supporting common methods and tools.
    • Knowledge of java, python scripting languages is an added advantage.
    • Excellent skills in networking, emphasis on Detailing & Problem solving.
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Master s degree in Design/Automotive/Thermal/Chemical Engineering from reputed institutes
    • 5-9 years of experience in CAE/CFD
    • Strong engineering fundamentals including fluid dynamics, heat transfer
    • Expertise in CAE tools star-CCM, Fluent/Gambit.
    • Knowledge of scripting in Python, VB.
    • Knowledge of ICE ,Fuel Cells & HV Batteries
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMasters or equivalent advanced degree in Design/Automotive/Thermal/Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline. Hands-on experience and project based learning in automotive engineering is preferred.
    • Project Experience with powertrain CFD simulations.
    • Independent handling of simulation activities.
    • Problem solving abilities. Physical intuition of what numbers are sane from simulations.
    • Strong first principles knowledge of physical systems in automobile.
    • Strong fundamentals in automotive sector
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Good Team Player. Should be organized and results driven, passionate.
    • Working level Knowledge of the battery product appreciated.
