Responsibilities The candidate is expected to collaborate with Equifax- Atlanta to provide high end analytical solution in order to develop the best in industry products. Work on diverse generic risk/ marketing models based on bureau dataPerform statistical analysis on newly developed generic risk model or existing generic modelPerform necessary analysis, such as data quality assessment, analysis to define performance window, historical window, dependent variable, interaction variable creation etc. Conduct complex statistical analysis under the supervision of a Senior Statistician/ Product development expertIdeate project execution planCreate model development design document along with timelines for all milestonesAnalysis across credit, fraud and insurance arenasComplex data assessment and integration from multiple platforms as required for analytical purposesCreate detailed documentation outlining design and technical specifications of each solutionQualification and Skills Required Masters in any quantitative discipline: Statistics (preferred)/ Economics (preferred)/ Math/ Engineering/ MBA etc. 3- 4 years of experience in BFSIExperienced in building logistic and linear regression models, knowledge of alternative methodologies is a plusIn- depth knowledge of the business problems in financial services. Knowledge of bureau data is a plusVery good knowledge of SAS. Good to have exposure of UNIX/ WPS/ R/ S- Plus/ SPSS, but not mandatoryCandidates with Big- Data analytics exposure will get additional weight ageMasters in any quantitative discipline: Statistics (preferred)/ Economics (preferred)/ Math/ Engineering/ MBA etc. Apt with MS Office components (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skill - verbal, written and presentation skills.
