St Cable Guard Support Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Smart Cable Guard support engineer strengthen our team in Bangalore advising clients on the condition of their underground cables.

Smart Cable Guard ( SCG ) is a n online multi - functional monitoring system for MV power cable networks. The system has two unique functions: detect and locate weak spots and detect and locate faults in underground power cables. The automated system immediately gives a warning when problems arise. Your tasks and responsibilities

As SCG support engineer you will be responsible for (remotely) monitoring the Smart Cable Guard systems in the field. You will keep track of all occurring issues and are the first point of contact to the customer. You will play an important role reporting to customers on any issues found.

Next to that, you will:

• Provide support during installation of a new SCG system in the field
• Provide support to our sales team launching SCG at new customers
• Support clients with resolving issues and incidents of our SCG systems
• Come up with ideas for improving efficiency and processes and share them with the development team

Position Qualifications

What we are asking

A team player who beside engineering has good communication skills to service our SCG customers in India.

And:

• You have successfully finished your technical study (Electrical Engineering)
• Have good analytical skills
• It would be good to have a good understanding of IT platofrms
• Your verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English are strong
• You are interested in electrical power systems
• You are pro - active, flexible and handle working under pressure
• You are curious, interested, well organized and engaged.
