Qualifications - Typically requires BE or equivalent We are looking for an experienced Software engineer who will be responsible for the design , development , maintenance and performance / quality of the software solutions for Extreme Wireless Cloud product. Being staff engineer , he / she will also see the big picture and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation. He / She should have a strong technical background and excellent IT skills. Job would include work on the Extreme Cloud applications dealing with various management and analytics aspects of Wired and Wireless network. Qualifications: Strong programming knowledge in Java / J2EE. Strong experience in developing software using service - oriented architecture. Experience in micro services , Docker , Springboot . Experience in developing & deploying highly scalable multi - tenant applications on any cloud platform. Able to research , architect and drive complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies . Strong expertise in software design considering security , scalability and reliability aspects. Excellent knowledge on networking domain. Good understanding of SQL / No SOL DBs . Good understanding on AWS features , virtualizations and Load balancers concepts would be a plus. Excellent debugging and problem - solving skills . Excellent analytical , communications (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills. Solid ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines and changing requirements. Team player and self - driven with a Can - Do approach. Ability to grasp new cutting - edge technologies , evaluate and test out alternatives. Job Responsibilities : Design , prototype , analyze and implement solutions for the Extreme Cloud software.
