Job Description

    • In this role you will be responsible for all facets of the analysis and design of credit strategies within the Chase Auto Finance (CAF) line of business. You will deliver recommendations for multiple origination strategies across all segments of the portfolio. You will also have opportunity of regular interaction and communication with outside vendors and cross-functional partners, including Chase Auto Finance (CAF) business leadership, Finance, Legal and Compliance partners, other functional partners and other areas of the Risk unit.     • Ability to analyze loan-level data to support the development of risk acquisition strategies
    • Evaluate performance of acquisition strategies across multiple portfolio dimensions
    • Identify and leverage new data sources to improve effectiveness of origination credit policy
    • Design and help implement test-and-learn risk strategies using new data attributes
    • Ability to articulate and explain quantitative analyses to a diverse non-technical audience
    • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional partners and internal risk colleagues
    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
    • Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related quantitative field (Advanced degree preferred)
    • At least 3+ years of risk analytical experience, preferably in financial services industry with consumer credit risk background
    • Prior working experience with SAS, SQL, MS Office, etc.
    • Familiarity with applied statistical techniques; e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, experimental design, etc.
    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in credit risk analysis with emphasis in consumer credit (credit card, auto, mortgage, etc.
    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
    • Knowledge of Auto Finance and Consumer Credit.
