Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the teams overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. They evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. They create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users.What your background should look like:RESPONSIBILITIES Serve in Digital Part Management Analyst role to centralize and standardize part data management across TE Energy to best integrate digital engineering attributes Setup and maintenance of part and material master data for engineering using TE standards for creation and management of engineering bill of material EBOM/MBOM Drive and Support Material Compliance Data update and rationalizing for Energy BU. Review and creation of work instructions to improve internal processes within Energy to improve product data quality in core systems (CREO/ PDMLink/ DM.Tec/ CPR/ SAP) Support PDM during rationalization and streamlining projects in the product portfolios Analyze product data and adjust work instructions to improve product data attributes Assist TE Energy global engineering teams with allocation of parts for legacy EBOM conversion and New Product Development Manage the Digital Engineering Team Bangalore. Drive Talent Management and Development Topics. Be accountable for team results.EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE Technical Engineering or Digital Data related Degree (Mechanical or related) Minimum >12 years engineering experience in similar related field, industrial engineering, electrical & electronic equipment, or manufacturing planning & production data environment Experience in SAP data management environment an advantage Knowledge of Engineering BOM / Manufacturing BOM Knowledge of CREO and PDMLink or experience with similar design tools Basic knowledge on Materials and its Certifications.
