As the industrys only end-to-end, cloud-native network software provider, Mavenir is transforming the way the world connects, accelerating software network transformation for 250 Communications Service Providers in over 120 countries, which serve more than 50% of the world s subscribers.Role SummaryHW Systems Engineer: Evaluate various HW servers , Interface cards, Acceleration cards, Phy Accelerators including GPU etc. Shall work with R&D to validate all the new servers and define various test cases to ensure that the selected server/HW meets all the quality requirements for RAN Applications.Manages theKey ResponsibilitiesHW Systems Engineer: Evaluate various HW servers , Interface cards, Acceleration cards, Phy Accelerators including GPU etc. Shall work with R&D to validate all the new servers and define various test cases to ensure that the selected server/HW meets all the quality requirements for RAN Applications.Manages the Power measurement, Power optimization and aspects for all the servers and HW cards.Shall define the Requirements in terms of managing the HW through management interfaces such as IDRAC and IPMI/Redfish etc.Job RequirementsHW Systems Engineer shall have at least 10 years of experience in HW board designs, Power estimations and Thermal analysis aspects.Candidate should possess a Masters degree in HW related areas.Shall be able to understand the Schematics, go through component lists, HW BOM, estimate the total power consumption and be able to suggest changes required to achieve the power efficiency.Shall be able to identify the parts needed for interworking with CPRI and Ethernet interfaces over Fibers such as SFPs.Good knowledge of all the interfaces at the Phy layer is a plus.Knowledge of PCIe Interconnects and Drivers for the same is a plus.Evaluate various HW servers , Interface cards, Acceleration cards, Phy Accelerators including GPU etc. Shall work with R&D to validate all the new servers and define various test cases to ensure that the selected server/HW meets all the quality requirements for RAN Applications.Manages the Power measurement, Power optimization and aspects for all the servers and HW cards.Shall define the Requirements in terms of managing the HW through management interfaces such as IDRAC and IPMI/Redfish etc.AccessibilityMavenir is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
