Job Description

NVIDIAs DGX Platform Software team is building BMC and System BIOS software for Next Generation AI Server platforms. The System Software Manager will lead a team of software development engineers who are developing BMC software stack across NVIDIA platforms. We are looking for someone that possess strong leadership and project management capabilities leading cross functional teams in fast paced and competitive work environments.What you ll be doing:

  • Lead a team of outstanding system software engineers including all responsibilities of people and technical management.
  • Guide and mentor team to achieve their personal and company s goals.
  • Make sure the team executes to quality in delivering on customer and internal commitments.
  • Youll drive and facilitate the planning, scheduling and execution of projects and activities of your team.
  • Establish relationships and trust through excellent execution and high quality of software development.
What we need to see:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computers, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field with 8 years of proven experience with focus on system firmware development for Enterprise class server systems.
  • 3 years of experience in product development lifecycle, including prioritizing technical requirements and project/people management.
  • Deep knowledge of x86 or ARM processor architecture, System interconnects like PCI, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI etc., System management architecture of enterprise grade systems.
  • Domain expertise in the System Management Firmware like BMC, SBIOS etc. and exposure to industry standard system management protocols like Redfish, PMCI, SPDM, IPMI etc.
  • Ability to lead senior engineers, empower and establish team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Proven C/C programming skills with experience working with large opensource codebases.
  • Contributor to industry standards like Open Compute, OpenBMC, DMTF forums and open source contributor.
