We are currently seeking a [[Systems Integration Specialist]] to join our team in [[Bangalore]],[[Karnataka]], [[India]].Support for diagnosing and fixing backup software andrelatedhardware issues such as tape drive failure, gripper obotic armissues.Performing Capacity Planning, DB volumeconfiguration,License management, analyze patch requests andapply patches,forecasting backup data, backup trend analysis,Performancereview and performance tuning of backups.Maintainreports on disk utilization, availability and growthpatterns.Provides recommendations to improve the storageinfrastructure,and address/lead critical issues and root causeanalysis.Definesthe storage hierarchy, formats and defines thedatabase, recoverylog, and disk storage pool volumes.Configures sequentialstorage pools and volumes. Defines datamanagement policies.Sets up schedules and automatedtasks.Defines tape sharing(library sharing, LAN-free). Tests thehardware / configuressequential storage pools and volumes.Performing DR exercises.Assistance in transition activities andmajor incidents and problemrecords. Able to interact with Vendorfor technical support.Document standard for new backupsolutions. Support for diagnosing and fixing backup software andrelatedhardware issues such as tape drive failure, gripper obotic armissues. Performing Capacity Planning, DB volume configuration,Licensemanagement, analyze patch requests and applypatches,forecasting backup data, backup trend analysis,Performancereview and performance tuning of backups. Maintain reports on disk utilization, availability andgrowthpatterns.
