Must hold Degree / Master s Degree in any discipline. Should have minimum of 8 - 10 years in end to end implementation of BI and Datawarehousing projects. Must have Strong technical knowledge and/ or experience in MSBI Product Suite. The candidate should have proven track record of interacting with varied teams preferable across various geographical regions. Key Responsibilities: Take complete ownership of the Analytics System from technical perspective. Participate with business users for requirement gathering and convert that into a technical design document. Participate in design discussions and be able to implement any design decisions. Prepare high level Architecture designs for the SSAS/ SSRS reporting solutions. Identify the performance bottle- necks in the report and resolve the same. Provide good solutions/ approaches for any complex requirements. Provide expert advice to DW team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/ or programming knowledge. Mentor other members on the team mainly with guidance around technical aspects of MSBI. Champion data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices Represent the analytics team on DRB and change management board meetings to get necessary approvals. Understanding the data that will be available on Source Systems in business terms. Work towards the maximum uptimes of Analytics systems and also plan their regular upgrades. Desired skills and experience: Good analytical and problem- solving skills. Prior experience in end to end BI Implementation projects. Proficient in customization and configuration of MSBI product suite Proficient in all three components of MSBI (SSIS/ SSRS/ SSAS) Should be able to do complex design and high- performance architecture. Ability to evaluate technical approaches and discuss pros and cons of each to arrive at a design. Should have excellent understanding of MS SQL Server Architecture. Should have strong concepts on building Security around the entire Datawarehouse. Good Functional Knowledge in the areas of Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Finance and Production Planning preferably on a SAP ECC system. Strong Datawarehousing and Data Modelling Concepts. Strong data modelling experience on either SAP BW / SAP HANA. Strong T- SQL knowledge is highly desired. Hands- on any of the Self- Serve/ Front- End Reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI etc. Good Knowledge on ETL/ ELT (Data extraction, data transformation and data load processes) on MSBI platform. Strong skills around Performance tuning (queries / data load processes) . Aware of the standard Change management and Project management processes.
