The content you develop will provide tangible value to the product and its customers.You will work with with cutting-edge content development, software engineering, project management, and product support professionals to provide information about key product features, use cases, and support areas.Key responsibilities
• Create and revise product documents like user guides, online help systems, reference guides, technical specifications, and release notes.
• Deliver content in a variety of formats including PDF documents, web pages, videos, and online help systems.
• Leverage a variety of information sources including: product specifications, developer comments, customer feedback, knowledge transfers, and product reference documents.
• Develop new and existing documents according to Dell content development styles and standards.
• Ensure that published content is technically accurate and meets Dell content standards and product requirements.

• 2 to 5 years experience in the technical writing field. Creates clear, concise, and understandable technical content for English language documents according to Dell content development standards and practices.
• Manages and maintains content development schedules according to software development cycles, content review requirements, and product release plans.
• Understands of technical content authoring and workflows and has knowledge of industry standards such as DITA, XML, and CSS.
• Familiar with prevalent software methodologies like SDLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• BE/ME (any stream) or BSc in Computer Science or BCA.
Desirable Requirements
• Experience working with DITA-based enterprise content development software and developing API reference content - for example, REST API libraries.
• Familiar with visual design tools used to create graphics included within technical content.
