The Tech Lead will be responsible for the timely delivery of complex, high availability, high traffic end user applications managing a team of 8- 10 highly skilled engineers. This person will make sure the systems developed by the engineers are top notch, reusable, scalable and follows the standard coding procedures. He should be able to guide/ mentor the engineers and will help them solve complex technological problems by using cutting edge technologies and will not be afraid to take calculated risks. He/ she will work closely with the Program Manager to publish project timelines and maintain the visibility of the delivery schedules. Desired Skillset: Overall 7+ years of experience in technology industry with at least 4- 5 years in Project Delivery and Team LeadershipFluent in Java or RubySolid understanding of MVC, and strong OO skills with demonstrated experience in developing complex, reusable APIsDeep understanding of high traffic, highly scalable, complex web applicationsShould have worked on Oracle and/ or MySql with enough hands on experience writing Stored Procedures, functions and performance tuningExperience with any one NoSQL solution like Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB is a mustFamiliar with atleast one of web technologies like AJAX, CSS, JQuery, EmberJS, Backbone. jsExperience of working in an agile environmentExperience with Test Driven Development using technologies like RSpec, Cucumber, CapybaraStrong leadership abilities to manage and train a team, including freshersQualifications Minimum: BE/ B.
