Roles and Responsibilities:1. Management Responsibilities:Provide technical guidance to team, reviews and works along with team. Able to break up work into tasks/ BOM and estimate cost, efforts and schedule. Understanding of Project Management, Outsourcing Management, Procurement Management and Productionmanagement. Understanding of project metrics and process flow. Technical guidance and schedule monitoring for HW and SW design and outsourcing. Plans, creates, maintains and executes detailed test plans strategies with inputs from product / applicationdevelopment team / Customers. 2. ATE Hardware Design ResponsibilitiesPerforms full cycle development of Automated Test platforms. Design test equipment for testing avionics and embedded computer based systems, line replaceable units (LRUs). Develops re-usable, generic, scalable, configurable, Modular test systems for Aerospace, Industrial and AutomotiveDUT testing. Performs circuit design/ debugging for Test platforms. Performs sub system level and system level testing and debugging along with the team. Selection and validate COTS hardware, Cables, Connectors, Accessories for test system. Performs ICD design, Cable Harness Design, BOM preparation and other process related documentation for ATEdesign. Provide inputs for mechanical design team for designing subsystems and other custom design panel for test system. 3. ATE Software Design ResponsibilitiesTest framework development in windows operating system by using National Instruments software (Labview, Teststand, Switch executive, ATML, My SQL etc). Design test framework that is generic, reconfigurable, reusable and adaptive to ClientsPower supply products, Clients products and third party hardware from Keysight, National Instruments, DDC, AIM etc. Develop automated test environment for GUI and non-GUI (Programmable / remote commands) testing for the fulltest coverage. Architect test environment that support DLL, COM, API etc. Hands-on experience on tools and usage of GPIB, VXI, PCI, PCM, PCI Carrier Boards, LXI, PXI, PXIe, Serial, ARINC 429, CAN, LabVIEW, LabVIEW RT, AFDX, 1553, DAQ modules. Develop a thorough understanding of the functionality of test measurement instrument products (Oscilloscope, DMM, Function Generator, Power Meters, RF generators, Spectrum Analyzer etc), and analysis applications. Test framework development by using software concepts such as multithreading, OOPS. Architecture developmentfor multi-unit testing and parallel testing. 4. Process control Quality management:Implementation and compliance to ACE9100 standardsAwareness of DO-160, DO-254, DO-178, MIL-STD-416, MIL-STD-810 etcCompliance to DO-330 standardsCompliance to IPC-610, 620 standardsExperience:10-15 Year experience in ATE hardware and software Design, Development, testing, Erection and Commissioning ActivitiesQualification:o BE/ Btech/ ME/ Mtech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentationo Dedicated performer with the ability to advocate appropriately for product quality. o Relentless learner with a dedication to learn new technologies and test methodso Self-driven and Innovative to drive continuous improvements in Test processo Resourcefulness in triaging problems and coordinating with multiple teams for issue resolutiono Strong written, verbal communication and inter personal relationship skills,
