271980BRTechnical Operations Expert - BasisJob DescriptionThe Technical Operations Expert provides senior level guidance and hands- on support of SAP Basis operations and project activities. He/ she is responsible to act as single point of contact and subject matter expert for a group of SAP landscapes and technologies, ensure availability and performance of SAP systems, coordinate/ lead technical activities, ensure adherence to security standards and compliance policies, and drive continuous improvement/ innovation to maintain a high level of service quality.Act as single point of contact and subject matter expert responsible for overall health, performance, and availability for a defined set of SAP technologies and systems Provide senior level guidance and hands- on support of SAP Basis related activities including system installations, administration, patching, and monitoring. Advise IT leadership in areas of Basis- related technologies and strategies. Ensure all SAP Basis changes are reviewed, approved and executed ac- cording to quality standards as defined by the IT Organization Advise and assist with proof- of- concepts on new technologies, system sizing, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Provide third level support for priority incidents and project issues affecting availability or performance of SAP systems and support root cause analysis when required Consult and work with projects and architects to ensure all technical designs are compliant with the internal and external requirements.
