The Microgrid business is core to Schneider Electric s strategy and is one of the pillars of its Sustainability, Digitization and Electrification agenda. Microgrids are key to the transformation and reshaping of the global Energy landscape to build more cost effective, sustainable and resilient energy systems supporting the global Energy transition.The Microgrid Line of Business is providing the software, the architectures and the necessary system components to allow Commercial and Industrial customers to design, build, operate and maintain their distributed energy resources in grid or off grid connected mode, enabling them to reach their energy sustainability, Net-zero and resilience objectives in a profitable manner. About the role The role of technical PO is to support R&D software team in defining and specifying requirements to the technical team taking in. He will report to the Lead PO who is managing several backlogs and squads of Microgrid Software solutions (France, Serbia, India).The main objective of the job is to analyse functional requirements from different domains (marketing, customer project, cyber security) and specify the features and stories of different development backlogs. The different requirements are the following:- Customer and project requirements (Rule 21 as an example)- Technical Migration from EMA V4 to V5- Industrialisation of Maintenance and Delivery tools (Fleet Management, MGDT, EMB)- New feature of EMA v5- Plug-in solution for other BU (Data Center of the future as an example)- Transformation and creation of squad in India- Quality features- Cyber Security improvementThe Technical Product Owner should help to scale up at the same time the development team., * Your Responsibilities
• Ensure that the features and stories within backlogs are well defined so that technical team can start development
• Refine the backlog with technical team to improve work evaluation and increase velocity
• Communicate successfully with country business representative to ensure the needs are correctly understood
• Make the planification of the work during PI planning
• Review the needs with customer or country to avoid complexity, advocating clarity
• Support country Front office and Hub on microgrid projects during promotion and quotation phase. Advise and/or create offers. Interact with dimensioning tools.
• Support offer launch effort
• Give feedback to marketing on the ongoing trends seen from customer perspective
• Support the COE and Marketing to explain new features
• Update documentation after each realease
• Participate on all Agile ceremonies of backlogs under responsibility
• Participate to Scrum of Scrum and Scrum ceremonies
• Drive priorities of the sprint in coordination with squad team members
• Ensure that the development team understand the midterm objectives
• Publish reporting information on backlog status to PMO team in US
Your profile
• 5+ years of successful experience as Technical Product Owner role
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing, including infrastructure, storage, platforms and data management micro services, event messaging, Cloud, Edge and IOT technology stacks
• Data model knowledge
• Applying agile methods, such as Scrum, Agile@Scale
• English spoken fluently, Functional specifications writing skills
• Experience in project execution
• Interest and Knowledge in Microgrid and New energy landscape
• Agility in a rapidly changing environment
• Curious with ability to learn continuously
• Entrepreneurship and willingness to grow
• Sense of ownership and responsibility in planning commitment. Costs conscious.
