Job Description

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable., Preferred Qualifications Technical Pre-Sales Consultant - Oracle CX Sales and Service - Sales Consultant Based in India, supporting NAA Sales As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant for Oracle CX Sales and Service - Sales Consultant (Demo Engineering Sales Consultant), you will work as a member of a pre-sales team to solve business and technical problems for prospective clients and customers. You will uncover and understand demonstration goals laid out by the field SE team and work with them along with product management and demo services/provisioning teams and collaborative to come up with the best possible solution/configuration based on business and technology requirements of the clients. Location for position is based out of India. Detailed Job Requirements.

  1. Analyze, design, develop, extend, and debug Oracle software for customer demonstrations of Oracle CX Applications, particularly Oracle CX Sales and Service (aka Engagement Cloud). This includes the technical configuration of delivered applications as well as building custom applications. Technologies used, but not limited to, are Oracle CX Sales and Service applications, JavaScript, Groovy Scripts, HTML, XML, SOAP and REST Web services, Reporting (OBIEE or any other reporting tool).
  1. Design and implement extensions in Oracle Cloud Applications to address non-standard customer requirements to demonstrate product capabilities beyond delivered capability to showcase the value of the Oracle Cloud platform.
  1. Project manage end to end build cycle for customer demonstrations and proof of concepts. Work and communicate with different stake holders including Oracle Product Management teams, Advanced Technologists, Oracle Demo Engineers, Oracle Demo Services teams and Field Solution Engineers to ensure smooth and flawless demo execution.
  1. Be a business partner to the lead field Sales Engineer, the extended demo team and work with them collaboratively throughout the demo process and help them with provisioning, maintaining, updating, archiving demo instances.
  1. Responsibilities would include, ensuring and maintaining accuracy and recency of demo instances. Ensuring smooth functioning of SE defined end to end demo flows. Making sure integration points and single sign-on across applications are working in accordance to the demo requirements. Ensuring data accuracy and data flow across applications.
  1. Responsibilities will also include performing performance testing, regression testing, and ensuring backward and forward compatibility with Oracle and in some cases non-Oracle solutions as per demand from specific customer demonstrations.
  2. Help field SE teams and be present during demonstration dry runs and make sure demonstrations and demo environments are meeting execution goals. This will involve working with multiple divisions within Oracle and with implementation partners to achieve a common goal of delivering a high-quality demonstration with minimum disruption.
  1. Create and maintain re-usable technical assets and documentation to be shared among the ecosystem.
  1. Maintain proper archival of demonstration assets and develop documentation for re-use.
  1. Maintain up to date knowledge of supported products and solutions and advice field SE teams on newly released feature/functions.
  1. Understand competitive landscape of CX Products.
  1. Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior communication skills.
  1. Working Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Process Cloud, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service or other competing technologies of similar function will be an added benefit.

Leads any and all aspects of the build process. Advises internal clients (Field SE teams) on overall architecture and advice on improvements. Maintain up to date information on supported products and solutions, keeps up to date with certifications and self-learning programs. Maintains excellent and open communication throughout the build process among all key stake holders.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Build reusable product demonstrations, customizations by translating customer requirements into Oracle solutions. Ability to implement/configure the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. Ability to understand cross-domain architecture and understand integration points and system-handshakes.
