Job Description

    The Prime Video International team serves as the voice of our international customers, advocates on behalf of those customers, and delivers capabilities that allow us to acquire, engage, and retain more of them. Our mission is to ensure every internet-connected customer in the world can enjoy Prime Video. We accomplish this by continuously increasing the number of global customers who can: (1) discover PV via marketing that is tailored to their country and in their local language; (2) sign-up to the service in their local language; (3) pay in their local currency using the payment instrument or 3P subscription vendor of their choice; and (4) browse the service and watch content (via subtitles, dubbing, or OV) in their preferred language.Were looking for a seasoned Sr. TPM to drive execution of our international expansion roadmap to acquire and delight our international customers on multiple cross-team strategic initiatives. This role requires a high degree of executive maturity, a proven track record of delivering results, comfort with ambiguity, a strong ability to exert cross-org influence and a willingness to dive deep into technical details. This Sr. TPM will interface directly with a dedicated set of Product Managers, Engineers and Designers, but will also work closely with cross-functional leaders across Amazon. As a Sr. TPM on the Prime Video International team, you will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to all aspects of the product lifecycle, interfacing and influencing stakeholders from other orgs, to roadmap planning, tech designs/scoping, and execution/delivery. If you are hungry to work on projects that directly impact the end-user experience, but also require driving complex cross functional projects across verticals, you ve found the right home.,
    • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
    • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
    • 5+ years of technical program management experience
    • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
    • Experience conceptualizing complex interrelated applications and system platforms, as well as the ability to communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners.
    • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
    • 5+ years of technical program management experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
    • A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
    • Master s degree in computer science and/or business administration
    • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon s leadership principles requirements for this role
    • Meets/exceeds Amazon s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
