Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwideJOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the IS&T Head of Engineering TechOps, your primary role will be to be in charge of the development and maintenance of our different Teamcenter based Engineering solutions at Alstom. You will also be strongly involved in the design, development and maintenance on a wide breath of other Alstom internal applications. You will act as a control tower to ensure overall consistency on Alstom applicative landscape. Architectural knowledge, Java or C++ development experience, Windows & Linux knowledge are all a must.This role will lead you to become an overall technical expert, eagerness to learn and expand your knowledge is a must Roles and Responsibilities:
• Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle from definition, architecture, design through implementation and support of Teamcenter based applications and others
• Control quality of partners deliverables, review technical designs and source code delivery from partner
• Provide technical and domain expertise on complex topics
• Participate in requirements gathering and technical specification creation
• Work with various IT Teams (Infra, Cloud, Network, Security) to ensure consistency of technical solutions
• Work together with Solution Architect and Project Manager to secure project deadlines
• Ability to develop, manage and deliver end to end releases using competent development languages as mentioned in the skill set below
• Ability to debug issues using competent methodologies
• Maintain technical solution referential & design documentation
• Support operations teams with regards to critical and complex incidents
• Support project teams with regards to UAT Support
• Develop, change and improve processes
• Build best practices on development activities and continuous improvement
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor/Masters of Engineering in Computer Science/IT with 7-9 years of relevant experience.
Competencies:
• You have worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles
• Expertise on Teamcenter based application administration, development and maintenance
• Expertise on Teamcenter ITK, RAC, data model and other modules customization
• Knowledge on IT infrastructure systems: server, database, network, storage
• Experience designing application architecture
• Experience on several languages, particularly Java or C++
• Knowledge on scripting for Windows and Linux
• Knowledge on migrating data or creating interfaces between applications
• Eager to learn new complex applications and develop your general knowledge
• Demonstrate good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• Strong leadership and are business value oriented.
• Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
