Job Description

This is a Technical Specialist role, reporting to the Research & Development Product Manager in business area Industrial Automation (IA) located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon-valley of India and you will be contributing significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks.Your responsibilities

  • Taking pride in crafting or selecting the most appropriate architecture for application.
  • Participating in each phase of application development lifecycle, including analysis, design, code, unit test, integration tests for applications.
  • Maintaining and exhibiting control over the architecture lifecycle, parallel to the application development lifecycle.
  • Translating end state business and technology models into architectural blueprints and architectural and technical documentation.
  • Building and implementing, automation and continuous integration strategy.
  • Setting up CI/D pipelines, modern deployment and release methodologies
  • Ensuring architecture/design meets both functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • MCA/B.Tech/B.E from a reputed University in Computer Science /Electronics/Instrumentation.
  • Required 10-13 Years of experience in delivering end-to-end application development.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of Microsoft Technologies (C#, .Net Core, WPF, ASP.NET, MVVM) with full stack web development experience.
  • Should have experience in software modelling, information modelling etc.
  • Should have experience in software architecture and software design, design patterns, architectural patterns and experience with UML, EA tool etc.
  • Should have experience in framework stack .Net Framework 4.5 and above, .Net Core 2.2, .Net Standard 2.0. dot net ecosystem.
  • Should have experience with C# along with React Js (TypeScript, Redux/Mobx State Management, HTMLs/CSS/JavaScript).
