    Job Opening Details back to list Reference Code: VI834 Job Title: Telecom/Engineering/Non IT - Power Electronics_core - Jakkulwar Shital -- Jakkulwar Shital -- Varaprasad (Aradhana) Category: Responsibilities: You are able to define, design, validate and troubleshoot power components: IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC & GaN and gate drive circuits, capacitors & inductors. Evaluate the concepts and feasibility of new hardware architectures to meet performance, cost and quality. You are expected to work along with local and global team members located in India, U.S and Europe. You shall work with vendors for new components selection that can be integrated into the designs. You shall conduct/participate in detailed design reviews with global stakeholders. You shall work on worst case analysis, DFMEA, FMEDA and EMI/EMC performance You are expected to carry out design, development, testing, technical documentation for Power Electronics circuits for inverters and DC/DC converters, for Low & High Voltage range. Key Skills: Requirements: Minimum bachelor s degree with 3 to 6 years work experience in designing and building of power electronics circuits. Clear understanding and working experience of power electronics topologies such as Inverters, DC/DC converters (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Flyback, Half and Full bridge, Resonant, Sepic e.t.c). Inverter design experience is added an advantage. Experienced in IGBT, MOSFET, SIC & GAN device driver circuit design, losses, and thermal calculations. Experienced in inductor, transformer and capacitor design & selection, preparation of specification and requirements. Experienced on simulation tools such as LTspice SIMPLIS, PSPICE, MATLAB/SIMULINK & Mathcad. Experienced in preparation of test plans and high-power testing and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, CANFD, Flex Ray) and tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CANopen, etc.). Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and requirements as per the standards and OEM s requirements. Experience in component stress analysis, alternate component selection, worst case analysis, Design FMEA, PCB layout design guidelines to PCB designer for EMC and safety.
