Test Campaign Leader for Switch Board to Cloud

Job Description

*Ensures delivery of the highest quality solutions for Schneider Electric Power products by effective participation in test planning, facilitation, execution & reporting of test campaigns and test automation.Responsibilities:

• Plan, Develop & Execute test cases to identify bugs/Issues and to ensure the development implementation meets the requirements.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Test design and Testing methodologies.
• Responsible for Review of Test Plans and contribute thoughts/ideas to user requirements and specification reviews.
• Responsible for Functional, Regression and Performance testing of product.
• Responsible for developing Scripts for Automation of Tests cases.
• To be able to quickly Ramp Up on the Technology & specific Tools.
• Effective participation in Planning and development of test strategy for product verification.
• To be able to work in R & D Test environment with understanding of Product Development Process & Mindset.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
• Work with the Continuous Engineer as necessary to reproduce customer issues to help identify root cause
• Report test progress & coverage

Skill sets:Basic / Core skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience performing testing of products and systems comprised of hardware, firmware, and software within an R&D Environment
• Minimum 2 years of exposure to test automation (scripting languages such as Python, and/or automation tools, such as Selenium, NI TestStand)
• Experienced with STLC process, Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experienced in functional verification of devices using various communication protocols, including Zigbee, and BLE.
• Thorough understanding on data Collection Protocols like MQTT, CoAP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS
• Good knowledge on LPWAN protocols like LoRa, LTE-M, NB-IoT and their verification means
• Expertise in use of packet analysers like Wireshark, serial port sniffer, ZBOSS sniffers etc and capable of analysing and decoding the frames
• Solid troubleshooting experience that help identify root cause of Product issues
• Demonstrated experience with issue tracking, configuration management, testing methodologies including Regression, Functional, Performance, Black box, White box, Integration, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor s Degree in computer engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering equivalent experience

Preferred skills (Nice to Have)

• Verification and/or Verification-related Tool Certifications (ISTQB, QAI, NI, etc.)
• Exposure to Industrial Communication protocols like Modbus or any substation automation protocols
• Knowledge on Low voltage electrical systems and products
