Job Description

    Job DescriptionRole: Test EngineerLocation: BangaloreTechnical Skills:
    • Validation of apps/solution such as Air print/ eprint(cloud)/eprint enterprise/HPAC/ WJA/mprint / Wi-Fi/wi-fi Direct printing / Hp jet advantage capture(scan)/ Google cloud print/ HP print for chrome, web services
    • Developing test cases for new requirements
    • Qualify all new NW features and NPI product related changes upfront & help resolve any issues identified through effective triage
    • Weekly meeting, status updates to inter-located teams.
    • Working on Agile Process, which involves Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Lab Readiness, Effort Estimation
    • Handling & identifying all the possible regression cases.
    • Help with test automation and BTF support for NW components and support TDD by coming up with test plans upfront
    • Help analyze defects reported by different team to support defect fixes investigations by NW team
    • Networking system testing and capturing core dump and necessary logs.
    • Triaging cloud defects from cloud QC and assigning to the appropriate asset
    • Support continuous integration by developing test suites for running automated tests on networking and sips fw modules
    • Take part in all requirements related discussions and come up with test plans upfront based on the design
    • Maintain HW, Asset tracking for the team and ensure no blockage due to this.
    • Help with defect and Epic tracking for the team and resolve dependencies.
    testing Of SNMP(V1, V2,V3), Wi-Fi, different network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, DNS, WINS, LLMNR) & network security protocols (802.1x, Firewall, IPSec, ACL), print port testing for MSWS, LPD, p9100, IPP.
    • Strong knowledge of manual testing on printer domain. (windows Linux) Along with this, knowledge of python automation is preferred.
    Required knowledge of protocol testing (TCP/IP, IPV4/6, SSH, telnet, ftp, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, LPD protocols)
    • Familiar with Testing Tools such as Wireshark, putty, Teraterm, Fiddlercap.
    • Windows certification tool, Air print tools
    Process Skills:
    • Experience with tools such as following or equivalent
    • JIRA
    • TESTRAIL
    Behavioral Skills:
    • Willingness to learn new technology
    • Very good communication skills
    • Should be very interactive and top on deliverables being working from client environment
