Job Description

*

  • Having a relevant experience of 4 to 5 years in performance testing and API testing.
  • Good understanding of factors influencing performance of software applications at multiple layers including Database, network, CPU utilization, memory analysis & performance monitors.
  • Strong experience with performance tools such as JMeter, Load Runner Experience with API testing using postman.
  • Hands on experience using performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
  • Experience in Performance testing, Connectivity testing, Load testing, Endurance testing, Stress testing, Integration testing & Analysis. Experience in analysis, design, and development and testing phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using agile. Experience with JIRA, Confluence and SVN.
  • Proficient with SQL with oracle database. Identify the workflows, analyse the NFRs and SLA, Ability to integrate performance tests into the CI build pipelines to provide continuous feedback on performance KPIs.
  • Excellent ability to translate business requirements and NFRs into performance test strategy, test scenarios and load profile. Extensive experience testing for performance and optimizing Java applications
  • Have experience with applications handling the workload in the bracket of thousands of TPS. Good knowledge of performance troubleshooting using heap dumps and thread dumps.
  • Good knowledge of performance metrics related to OS, JVM Experience in utilizing performancemonitoring and tuning software for interpreting performance results and identifying bottlenecks (e.g., SiteScope)
  • Experience in working with load balancers and multiple webappdb server technologies (Tomcat,Apache, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) Working knowledge of version control system
  • Hands on with at least one programming language (preferably JavaGroovy) Plan and coordinate test scripting and execution and reporting. MUST be a Detail and results oriented
