JOB PURPOSE:This role has full accountability for SIT testing phase. The successful candidate will use previous Test Management experience and knowledge of application/product and testing to improve overall test management strategy.Quality Assurance and Control across all projects in a defined portfolio. This role will focus on functional testing including engineering/profiling of existing systems to ensure quality project IT deliverables.The scope of the role will include projects already included as well as projects yet to be approved and activated as part of the Programme Vision. It is therefore essential to provide tactical as well as strategic test planning to address future direction of the Testing Strategy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTest Strategy and Execution:First line of report and Quality Gate checklistEnsure compliance to UTM and SDF modelsExcellent understanding of Test Strategy, Test Traceability, Test Evidences, and Test Closure Report which form UTM (Unified Test Model) pillars under SCB s System Delivery FrameworkOn a E2E test ownership role, collaborate with domain test manager to gain support and achieve project objectivesConflict resolutions within the teamCreate career path for the team and have succession planningFoster an open culture within the teamAbility to provide tough feedbacksSound knowledge on risk assessment and risk managementMentor been approved by relevant PWG/PSC/PRCMitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely manner including developing suitable controls and measuring their effectivenessAdopt DevOps in all the projectsComply with QA review audit for all the BC4/5 applicationsProcure dispensation on valid casesImplement testing accountability and process consistently across all engagementsImplement standard test reportingPlanning and manage test environments.Ensuring no adversely rated test audit, no medium or high risks rated test issues from audit and No expired/overdue risks or actions from auditsCreate Test automation frameworks from scratchDrive Test Automation within the team and provide mentorshipPrepare the Automation Test Strategy and roadmap for the area.Plan and execute activities in relation to Test Scripting, preparation and executionCommunicate to stakeholders on the Test Status, risks and issue resolutionManage and coordinate TestingResourcing and Finance:Ensure Billability for the teamEnsure SOWs are in place and extensions and terminations of contracts are managed to avoid cost leakageMaintain the right permanent: vendor mix as per the bank s policyTest Automation:100% Compliance to regression packs being identified and automation scope definedWork to achieve 85%regression automation targetIdentify suitable candidates for DevOps toolset implementation (Genie/JIRA, GIT/Stash)Test Transformation:Unified/Standardized JIRA, test artefacts, status reports, completion report suite covering e2e test methodology by SDLCThorough understanding of the system and data architecture of the underlying productAdoption of model across all domains with appropriate test methodology aligned to each project and evidenceResource plan identifying optimal mix of resources by locationDeliver automated regression test packsCompliance:Mandatory e-Learning completionEnchanting block leaveData Leakage PreventionAdherence to Group Code of ConductMarking Daily Time sheet with specific tasksPeople, Culture and Conduct:Adherence to hygiene factors focused from the hubInvestigating on My Voice feedback and improve team engagement.Reinforce concepts and MDX query language.Knowledge on the Java, Selenium Web driver, HTML5, DOM model, XML, XPATHQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:More than 6 years of Testing experience.Good exposure to testing with different domains knowledge such as banking, health care, etc.,Knows what quality looks like and is willing to enforce it within Standard CharteredExperience conducting quality auditsExperience leading large organizations with teams that are geographically dispersed and with virtual teams in a complex, matrix organizationExcellent communications and presentation skills with ability to adjust communication styles depending on type of target audienceExcellent influential and negotiation skillsExperience with People Management, Vendor ManagementAbility to engage with a wide variety of
