Job Description

    1. Working as part of the Diagnostic Validation and Simulation team validating new software releases, understanding of Testing Concept
    2. Define test strategies for the Diagnostic software and data used in the off-board tester
    3. Understand requirements of software development and the impact on the Testing landscape
    4. Identify, generate and implement test cases and validation criteria for a system under test
    5. Work with Test managers to configure test setups and test runs according to the test plan
    6. Troubleshoot various systems and ECUs using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer
    7. Unit testing of developed code/ Basic testing as per process, Functional Testing for End-to-End process, Interface testing with relevant applications
    8. Execution of test plans on dealer representative hardware : utilizing vehicles, modules and simulator (VSI)
    9. Verification of correct tool diagnostic tool operation
    10. Acceptance testing of the diagnostic tools
    11. Reporting, Documenting and Investigation of issues found during testing
    12. 4+ years of hands on experience in diagnostics, DoIP, UDS protocol, flashing, over the air update is required
    13. Experience with automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, FlexRay) is desirable
    14. Experience with Diagnostics Software like Xentry Diagnostics is required
    15. Experience with Bug Management tools like JIRA - Xray plug in desirable
    16. Basic knowledge of programming, preferably with Python is desirable
    17. German speaking ability is desired
