The GPU team has well established RnD teams from Architecture and Design to Post Silicon Validation and Debug in Bangalore. The team delivers on products from the Snapdragon 800 series to the low tier 200 series. You will be joining a successful engineering department whose deliveries can be found in billions of smartphones, wearables. Based out of Qualcomms Bangalore office, this role is for GPU System Validation Lead for Snapdragon MSMs. You will lead the system validation team to bring-up, debug and validate hardware. Pulling on your technical and leadership expertise, you solve technical issues in all projects to ensure smooth execution across projects. You will mentor the junior engineers in the team and support their learning in their career growth. As part of your role, you will work with Design, DV, emulation, SW driver and lab teams and drive GPU system validation as the point of contact for all stakeholder teams. Key Responsibilities Be the primary point of contact for validation planning and execution for cross-functional teams. Develop validation plans and be responsible for procurement of all necessary collateral to execute the plan Task definition and breakdown including time and risk estimation for the team. Develop and test scripts/hardware of moderate to high scale and complexity to execute validation plans GPU functional validation, Power and Performance Measurements, Optimization, Debug and Issue Resolution. Preferred Qualifications 9+ years of experience working in emulation and silicon environments.
