Job Description

Dear Candidate,We are searching for underwriters/reviewers with experience with investor, business purpose and commercial loans. See our ad for more details and please note in your application cover letter if you have experience with both.We are seeking applicants who have 2+ years of experience and ability to do the following:Job Description -

  • Mortgage industry knowledge and familiarity with best practices for post-close underwriting compliance and quality control on newly originated mortgages required.
  • Previous contract/project due diligence a plus+++.
  • Proficiency in understanding of residential mortgage FNMA/FHLMC, VA FHA and USDA guidelines, QM/ATR.
  • Knowledge of NQM, non-agency and investor specific programs and guideline overlays a plus.
  • Two or more years of related mortgage underwriting, post-closing QC or due diligence review experience
  • Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Ability to work well and mange time remotely and to create a self-motivating work environment. Experience working remotely or from home a plus.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.11. Ability to quickly adapt or learn new systems and technology.
  • Flexible work schedule and work with other clients allowed.
