Job Description

Qualifications Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with Soy templates, Java, and material design.
  • Experience in building scalable user interfaces (UIs).
  • Experience in Android application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in building scalable user interfaces (UIs).
  • Fluency in Java and Android SDK.
  • Knowledge of material design standards and principles, including principles of accessibility.
  • Ability to build products that are accessible and inclusive to all users, including people with disabilities.
  • Passion for building excellent user-first products.
About the job UX Engineers are the synthesis of design and development. They take Googles most innovative product concepts and bring them to life in an effort to push the boundaries of user interface design. Google is known for its design aesthetic and technical know-how. In a UX Engineer job, youll need both types of skills to develop the next generation of products. Youll partner with Researchers and Designers to define and deliver new features, test new concepts and assist with final implementation. As the UX Engineer, you will provide NBU-first content experiences in emerging markets, like India.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, UX Designers to iterate through multiple research prototypes.
  • Validate research prototypes through studies and live experiments with real end-users.
  • Work on production of new features and usability upgrades.
