Job Description

    Role Details : Were looking for a product manager (PM) to work on challenging problems in the user growth area. This would involve solving problems across the user journey from their acquisition to engagement to monetization. As an individual contributor, this PM should be able to analyse multiple pieces of discrete information in the form of user research led insights and empirical evidence through experiments to put together a cohesive roadmap, execute on it and deliver business outcomes.Some of our products/initiatives are in the 0 to 1 stage or transitioning from x to 10x stage. The ideal candidate should have experience in both. Also, we strongly encourage the Growth PMs to think about growth loops leading to a strong flywheel and network effects. Responsibilities : - Work on user flows and product features - bring new users to the Vedantu platform and convert them to paid students.- Collaborate with the business teams - SEO, Web, Marketing, etc. - to bring them onboard with the processes while keeping an eye on their operational readiness.- Generate product backlog, plan and prioritize user stories while keeping all stakeholders apprised- Work with the design team, to define requirements and expectations to deliver UX designs that are not only easy to use, but also leverage UX best practices, and dovetail with the predominant UX patterns present in the product- Design and adopt early validation mechanisms - experimentation, qualitative research insights to plan a product feature build out- Engage cross-functional teams and be recognised as the go-to person for everything related to the Product- Define key metrics of the feature/product for the complete team to track success Requirements : - 2-3 years of Product Management experience- Proven track record of successfully designing and delivery of App/mWeb products and features in fast paced businesses- A team player with excellent communication skills- Data-driven; taking decisions based on facts rather than opinions or assumptions.- Ability to operate independently and be fully responsible for a product area.- Leading by example with excellent people skills, such that the others are ready to follow his/her directives not due to authority but by respect, likeability and relatability.- Ability to prioritize and manage changing requirements and short timelines, as well as multiple overlapping projects simultaneously. Background of preferred candidates : - Experience in working with SEO and Digital Marketing teams is a plus- Experience in edtech, travel, focused start-ups- Experience in high growth B2C consumer internet startups- Tier 1 academic pedigree - IIT / IIM / MDI / ISB / BITSThis job opening was posted long time back.
