Primary responsibilities include working with a broad range of customers, from independent developers to large in- house information technology organizations, providing support for Windows Application Development utilizing Microsoft .Net Framework, .Net Core, .Net Standard, WinForms, WPF, SilverLight, ADO.Net, ODBC and Visual Studio tools including Compilers, Assemblers, MSBuild and the IDE. The position is to support customers using Visual Studio and applications developed by customers using.Net Technologies. This involves using application development knowledge to debug the issue if it s with Visual Studio/ .Net Components or the customer s application. Customer applications can range from simple windows form applications to n- tire applications developed in any .Net Languages such as C#, VB.Net, C++/ CLI. So an understanding of all development languages is desired. The ability to ask probing questions via phone or email to get details from customers to help resolve issues is critical. Skills required include excellent communication skills, proficiency with the .Net Languages, Compilers, Assemblers, Visual Studio, MSBUILD, Debugging skills and a passion for solving tough customer problems. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years programming in the areas listed above. An ideal candidate would have a strong customer service focus, excel at problem solving, experience in Windows Application Development using .Net (C#/ VB.Net, CLR, WinForms/ WPF/ Silverlight, ADO.Net/ ODBC) and Visual Studio, a thorough understanding of OOP and Windows OS FundamentalsTechnical Skills Mandatory: Excellent Programming Skills using C# or VB.Net Sound knowledge of .Net CLR (Assemblies, GC, Threading, Exception Handling etc) Solid Understanding of Multi- Threading and Parallel Programming Solid understanding of Microsoft Data Access Technologies (ADO.Net/ ODBC) Solid understanding of Windows Operating System Internals (Process, Threads, Memory Management) Proficiency in UI Technologies (WPF/ WinForms/ SilverLight) Solid understanding and usage of Visual Studio and MSBUILD Solid understanding of OOP and OOD Excellent application debugging skills using Visual Studio DebuggerCommunication Skills: Ability to write/ speak on a technical level so targeted audience understands Ability to read and ask probing questions to help resolve issues Excellent reading and listening skills to understand different perspective Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge on using C/ C++ compiler/ linker Knowledge on using VC++ CRT/ MFC/ ATL Knowledge on using WinDbg to debug issues in applications Familiarity with Developing and Using WCF Services Familiarity with Developing IIS/ ASP.net applications Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Visual Studio & Languages 2- 10 Years Remote Working Option: You have successfully applied for this position. ,
