Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1) Specifies battery cooling system components (fan, blower, chiller, pump, heat exchanger, cold plate, cooling line, compressor), materials, and methodologies to ensure products meet all homologation, quality, and customer requirements 2) Handle multiple projects independently with minimal guidance 3) Ability and flexibility to coordinate with multiple vendors, internal teams & testing, team to meet the project objective 4) Evaluates supplier specs, analysis, and test reports to ensure proper selection of suppliers 5) Battery thermal management algorithm including prognostics/diagnostic logics 6) Experience in CATIA to perform CAD checks for interference, gap/clearance, etc 7) Conducts DFMEA, DFM, DFS, DFA for battery thermal system and components 8) Benchmarking for battery thermal management 9) Support the vehicle program delivery to meet the timeline 10) Come up with new ideas for thermal management 11) Thermal system design of cooling and ventilation system for battery packs (air and liquid) 12) Conducts developmental testing of new thermal concepts Experience M.E./M.Tech.: 05 to 07 Years Industry Preferred Automotive, Aerospace, Energy Storage Qualifications M.E./M.Tech., in Mechanical Engg /Thermal Science / Aerospace engineering / Chemical Engineering General Requirements 1. Ability to work closely with the Electrical, Mechanical, Electrochemistry, and Embedded systems (BMS) Team internally 2. Ability to apply GD&T, DFMA principles 3. Parts and subsystem Integration 4. Automotive vehicle subsystem knowledge 5. Smooth transition of developed product from R&D to Manufacturing team. 6. Expertise in Design Verification/Validation Plan, DFMEA, Design Release Documents, and FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System)Job Segment: Engineer, Electrical, CAD, Drafting, Engineering, Automotive ,
