Job ID: JRhidden_mobileJob Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireEmulation Engineer Job Description This is a challenging and multi-faceted Emulation Engineer position at Intel to envision, define, and deliver Silicon Prototyping Models for Intels cutting edge IP level emulation. You will be responsible to deliver emulation/Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) IP sub-system level models rendered from Register Transfer Level (RTL) on emerging Intel designs by employing skills in emulation/FPGA synthesis, partitioning and routing tools. You will collaborate as One Intel with design, system validation, and software/firmware teams to establish prototyping models that enable System Validation, Software Validation and Design Validation to run as much validation content as possible in Pre-Silicon. You will contribute hardware and software collaterals required to integrate IP prototyping solutions that enable debug of Intel Silicon designs prior to fabrication. You innovate to define and deliver new capabilities, processes to integrate HW/SW which delivers acceleration of RTL integration and improve emulation/FPGA model usability for Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon functional validation and provide guidance to Pre-Silicon Validation teams to optimize validation environments, test execution and influence development methodologies for increased productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills: Team player, very proactive and self-motivated. Verilog, VHDL - coding and verification. RTL logic design. Basic UPF understanding Integration of acquired IP blocks into synthesized design. Logic synthesis. Working knowledge of logic design principles, power/timing effects. Automation using shell or Tcl scriptingQualifications Education Bachelors or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of total experience (4+ years if Masters or PhD) inclusive of: ASIC (Logic/RTL Design) and/or FPGA prototyping. Simulation environments/tools for debug (e.g. VCS, ModelSim, Quartus, Vivado, etc.). FPGA prototyping, silicon verification and/or system validation. Preferred Qualifications One or more of the following experiences: 5+ years of Logic/RTL Design and/or emulation/prototyping experience. Mapping complex SoC design into multi-FPGA platforms and hands on experience with industry prototyping systems (e.g. Zebu, Veloce, HAPS 80, Palladium or related). C/C++/Python/Perl/TCL. Experience with pre-Silicon prototyping tools, flows and methodologies (Vivado, Quartus, ProtoCompiler, VPS). Working knowledge of industry standards and bus protocols: PCIe, Eth, SPI, I2C, AMBA. Experience with OVM/UVM Based Verification.
