Job Description

Role Description The Digital Technology team within the Consumer and Commercial Banking Technology (CCB) is looking for passionate full-stack React / Angular Software Engineers in order to re-engineer and expand the existing platform. In return, the candidate will get to work with a modern technology stack, and in the process gain experience of working within one of the most mature Agile teams within Banking Technology.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:Comfortable around back end coding languages and development frameworks. A desire to work on a mature Agile project, with a focus on applying Lean techniques to maximize time spent delivering benefit. A willingness to actively particulate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including but not limited to: refinement of requirements, estimation & planning, platform design & implementation, test & deployment automation, and platform resiliency & support. Experience in building highly available, resilient cloud native applications using distributed architecture Proficiency in various software architecture patterns Proficiency in data structures and algorithms Proficiency in end to end system design Proficiency in AWS core products and services Proficiency in UML and DDD Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvementMandatory Skillsets:10+ years of hands on experience in Core Java and spring framework Hands on experience in building REST APIs Hands on experience in developing micro-services in a containerized environment Hands on experience in provisioning resources in AWS using terraform Experience in both high level and low level system design Proficiency in DAO & ORM Frameworks especially hibernate SQL DML, DDL Hands on experience in Junit and Mockito CI/CD pipeline (Atlassian Tools) , version control tools such as git, bitbucket.,
