Job Description

    *Birlasoft is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer. Candidate will work with established UX and UI Leads and designer to design, develop and test interactive prototypes, websites, web apps and other HTML based solutions for a variety on internal and customer facing solutions.Responsibilities include:
    • Rapidly develop and iterate prototypes that run on mobile devices and current browsers to validate design concepts based on wireframe designs and high-fidelity mockups created in Photoshop or Illustrator.
    • Implement design layout assets created in Photoshop or Illustrator in code for various platforms and browsers using the latest front-end technologies, including responsive web design.
    • Use of Adobe Creative Cloud to edit or create visual assets as defined by UI or UX designers, using provided design templates.
    • Effectively communicate front-end technology implications and blockers in a clear and timely manner to Birlasoft team members.
    • Participate in requirements gathering and functional specification activities, providing feedback on implementation feasibility.
    • Collaborate with other developers to integrate front-end code with other technologies including server-side code, APIs and web services, and content management systems when required.
    The Front End Developer has excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills. You are able to present coded prototypes and templates to Birlasoft team and/or customers. Your experience enables you to work well within Agile project development environments.Basic Qualifications:
    • 4+ years experience designing interactive web and mobile applications
    • 4+ years experience with HTML5, HTML5 Canvas, CSS3, JavaScript
    • Experience with one of the popular JavaScript MV* / MVC frameworks (like Angular, Bootstrap or Backbone)
    • Proven ability in implementing JavaScript and CSS3 based animations, transitions, and behaviors
    • Proven experience with touchscreen, cross-browser compatibility, fluid layouts and adaptive layouts
    • Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Ability to work internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced small team environment
    • Quick learner with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, able to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
    • You believe in the importance of creating excellent customer experiences
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent in computer science, software interface design, web development, or a related field.
    • Willingness and ability to stay current on emerging trends related to web technologies, coding and other related aspects.
