Welding and Fabrication Engineer Location:Bengaluru, KA, INExxonMobil Job Role SummaryJob Responsibilities:Provide Projects, Operations and Drilling teams with fit- for- purpose review, recommendations, and troubleshoot welding and related fabrication activitiesSupport for stewardship of third- party studies and workEffectively communicating risks and opportunities related to welding and fabrication workProvide technical support and solutions to project- related technical issues to project teams and contractorsSupport new and existing upstream oil and gas projects with development of specifications, qualification, testing, inspection, and failure analysis of welding and fabrication related technical issues.Review and understand company technical requirements and steward projects toward technical excellenceProvide technical support to development and maintenance of company s global practices and mentor technical development of employees.Proactively identify risks and opportunities and recommendations to customers Job Requirements:Bachelor s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.Relevant welding and fabrication experience, preferably in oil and gas upstream environment.Experience with welding processes, welding metallurgy, weld procedure qualification and testing of carbon steel and corrosion resistant alloysExpertise in relevant industry codes and practices including AWS, API, ASME, NACE, DNV, and ISOFive to 15 years of related work experienceBroad understanding of risk managementStrong interpersonal skillsAble to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesWillingness to travel domestically and internationallyStrong English communication skillsDirect experience with materials and fabrication specifications for demanding environments including corrosive and sour service would be preferredDirect experience with materials specifications for demanding environments including low temperature and sour service would be an advantageKnowledge of common welding inspection techniques and limitationsFamiliarity with NDE techniquesFamiliar with corrosion, materials processing, inspection, nondestructive testing, mechanical and corrosion testing, quality control as well as failure analysis of carbon steel and corrosion resistant alloysFamiliar with pressure equipment design, and pipe and pressure vessel fabricationSelf- motivated and focused on achieving business results through a multi- disciplined teamDemonstrate teamwork and leadership skills Job Segment: Engineer, Risk Management, Technical Support, Engineering, Finance, Technology,
