Job Description

    * Regulation and Ratings Responsible/ Product Manager Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking Product Owner/Regulation Responsible (SV) with basic vehicle electronic systems knowledge to work in the areas of Camera, Parking Assistance & Driver Assistance Systems Mercedes Benz Park Assistance System assists the driver comprehensively in the search for a parking space and can pilot the vehicle into and out of parallel and end-on parking spaces. The reversing camera along with the Surround View & USS/RADAR based Systems help to reduce the risk of collisions with obstacles at the front, side and rear of the vehicle. Mercedes Benz Driver Assistance System assists the driver for collision warning & mitigation, lane recognition, traffic sign recognition, object recognition for avoiding or mitigating crash. The driver assistance functions are realized using Mono/Stereo Multipurpose Cameras, Radar and Lidar sensors. Key Job Responsibilities:
    • Defines System requirements, enters data into doors, and tracks the implementation.
    • Represent Camera and Parking System with Regulation, Product liability, partner ECU responsible teams.
    • Work with global suppliers, internal project teams to ensure the committed plans are delivered on-time
    Be familiar with Software and Hardware aspects of ECU development.
    • Discuss requirements, stakeholder management and technical communication skills.
    Nice to have:
    • Familiar with FMVSS 111, KMVSS 53-2, UNR 79, UNR 158 and similar other regulations for ADAS
    • Familiar with EuroNCAP, JNCAP, KNCAP, IIHS and similar other ratings for ADAS
    • Familiar with standards like ISO 17386 Malso, AIS 145 and similar other standards
    , * Basic Qualification:
    • Bachelor s Degree in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
    • 4-8 years of work experience in automotive domain.
    Key Skills and Experience:
    • Automotive system engineering/ Product Owner/ System development experience
    • Good understanding of software development processes
    • Experience in working with colleagues from plant and Tier-1 global suppliers
    • Exposure in one of the following areas - Park Assistant systems , Ultrasonic sensors, Camera Based assistance systems, Driver Assistance Systems
    • Past roles such as Systems Engineer/Hardware or Software Engineer with good involvement in ECU development at Tier1 or requirement engineer at OEM.
    Additional Skills:
    • Usage of tools Doors, Canoe, Jira, Starc.
    • Knowhow of control unit software development
    • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
    • Exposure to multi-cultural environment; Germany working experience is an added advantage
    Basic knowledge on German language is preferred not essential
