Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Through-Hole Manual Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic components through manual insertion into printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole technology. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes.Responsibilities:
  • Manual Through-Hole Component Assembly:
    • Accurately place electronic components onto PCBs following assembly instructions and engineering drawings.
    • Ensure proper alignment, orientation, and solderability of through-hole components.
  • Soldering:
    • Execute high-quality hand soldering of through-hole components to PCBs, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
    • Verify solder joints for completeness, cleanliness, and overall quality.
  • Quality Control:
    • Perform visual inspections to identify defects, such as solder bridges, cold joints, and misalignments.
    • Conduct functional testing to ensure the proper functionality of assembled components.
  • Workstation Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
  • Documentation:
    • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor for resolution.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to address assembly challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Training:
    • Stay updated on through-hole assembly techniques, industry trends, and technological advancements.
    • Train and mentor new team members as needed.
