Job Description

Application Engineer, SAP SpecialistLocation: Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaExperience: EarlyMinimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing business application, system integration or IT development.
  • Experience implementing, customizing or integrating third-party applications within business enterprise software.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in multiple full system implementation life cycles (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).
  • Knowledge of systems related to Supply Chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.In this role, you will have knowledge of SQL, coding (Java/Python), Data Management skills in Cloud Infrastructure. You will also have experience in Google Big Query (BQ), data warehouse design, system integration understanding of integration concepts and technologies, Cloud - Google Cloud, and cloud-based technologies, pipeline management and Google Cloud Data Engineer Certification. You will have experience with SAP BW and SAP SLT, and understand HANA DB architecture. You will understand SAP Analytics Cloud and have knowledge of SAP ABAP programming. You will have domain experience in Enterprise Business Warehouse applications, with a focus on supply chain management.Responsibilities
  • Write modular, well-structured, and self-sustaining codes, and develop overall systems design, research, and evaluate vendor supplied applications, and develop recommendations on those applications.
  • Build internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services and identify processes and solutions to ensure controls compliance can be enforced and monitored.
  • Help design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support Googles technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, and data and business intelligence.
  • Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications and collaborate with analysts and business process owners within one or more teams to help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
