Additionally, we provide asset management services to investments where Goldman Sachs has an interest. Consisting of hundreds of professionals in multiple offices around the world, our business operates on a global platform.ASSET MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS - BANK RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT & MARKET STRATEGYThe Bank Relationship Management & Market Strategy (BRMS) team is responsible for the management of the front-to-back oversight governance framework for brokers, fund administrators and custodians across the Asset Management fund complex and institutional client managed accounts. GS Asset Management manages close to $1 trillion in more than 1,000 funds, distributed to clients across our client base. The BRMS team is looking for an experienced relationship coordinator at the junior associate level to join our growing team in Bengaluru.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as an oversight delegate for a sub-set of broker, custodian and/or fund administrators to maximize potential value delivery across the firm
  • Develop and manage an evolving control framework to support the global team and the vendors the team oversees via the firms central vendor management programme
  • Coordinate the successful completion of due diligence, business continuity and technology risk questionnaires
  • Explore solutions that leverage business intelligence, low code automation, industry utilities, and external vendor solutions
  • Drive strategic projects for the vendors based on divisional and business unit priorities and needs
  • Assist with the evaluation, selection, negotiation and onboarding of new vendors and ongoing compliance with Firm vendor policies
  • Evaluate new business, products or markets and collaborate across teams to fulfil work streams
  • Comply with internal risk frameworks and industry regulations to reduce risk and extract maximum value from our global vendor network
  • Connect with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines, and/or lobby for change
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent, with relevant industry experience
  • Relevant work experience of 3 years
  • Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify and learn pertinent information across a wide range of products and the full trade lifecycle
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work under tight deadlines
  • Intellectual curiosity, and a strong work ethic and commitment to a superior work product
  • Ability to cultivate effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Forward thinking, with the ability to assert new ideas and follow them through
  • Self-motivated, and a proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of fund products (i.e., mutual funds and alternative investment funds), operations, trade lifecycle and regulatory environments would be beneficial
