Job Description

About the Role:We are looking for strong Architects with a Java/AWS background. This is a super urgent requirement, and only candidates from the BLR location will be considered. T1 Level preferred but must be willing to do hands-on coding & code reviews.An experienced AWS Solutions Architect with a focus on cloud migration will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing the migration of existing infrastructure, applications, and services to the AWS cloud. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless migration and optimal performance in the cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Design AWS Solutions:
    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
    • Develop solutions that meet the technical and business requirements of our clients.
  • Migration Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the assessment, design, and migration of on-premises applications, databases, and workloads to AWS.
    • Utilize AWS migration tools and best practices to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Cloud Strategy and Roadmap Development:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cloud strategies and migration roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and expertise in AWS services, including EKS, EMR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and other AWS technologies, as well as third-party integrations like Apigee, Dynatrace, and Mobius.
    • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure that all cloud solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance policies.
    • Implement best practices for data protection, identity management, and access control.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of AWS environments.
    • Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to enhance performance.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored AWS solutions.
    • Conduct workshops, demos, and presentations to articulate the value of cloud migration.
  • FinOps:
    • Work directly with clients to understand the current FinOps process, assess, optimize, save, and recommend improvements.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Specialize in Terraform, CloudFormation (CF), and other infrastructure automation tools.
  • Presales:
    • Experience in presales activities, responding to and actively working with deal teams on RFI, RFP, and Orals.
Qualifications:
  • AWS Certification: Solution Architect Professional
  • 15 years of experience in relevant fields.
