Job Description

Your JobTo work for Operational transformation by creating maximum value through effective deployment of latest Industrial Engineering practices. Also actively participate in NPD activities for supporting new as well as transfer projects. Promote Lean manufacturing culture to drive continual improvement in manufacturing process to eliminate waste across the supply chain.What You Will Do

  • Carryout audits (Routing & BOM) to challenge the standard costs by verifying standards v/s actuals v/s drawing.
  • Carryout Cycle Time study, Line balancing, Work & Method study.
  • Active participation in new product development Exit Audit and Signoff.
  • Analysis of negative margin products and work with Operations/ Materials team to drive profitability improvement.
  • Develop optimized layouts for smooth flow of materials and information.
  • Work to improve ergonomics in shopfloor to improve working environment & efficiency.
  • Facilitate Packaging cost optimization.
  • Active member of Fusion deployment team to lead MPD capability.
  • Lead special projects as and when assigned by top management.
  • Benchmark with other GOC plants to drive India Operational Transformation to support plant capability development.
  • Benchmarking the best IE practices to adopt in our system.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years experience in implementing Industrial Engineering and Lean in a manufacturing industry.
