Job Description

: Installation EngineerResponsibilities:

  • Is responsible for dismantling & packing of the systems after FAT along with packing list.
  • Preparation of installation guide.
  • Erection & commissioning of the system at customer site.
  • Ensuring smooth execution of SAT at customer site.
The Operations/Production Technician will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring or testing of products. The holder of the position will also work with the production team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements. The goal is to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Co-ordinate with production team for dismantling schedule & process requisition for packing materials.
  • Dismantling of the system after completion of FAT.
  • Packing of the system as per the SOPs & preparation of packing list.
  • Prepare installation guide & share with customer for preparation for installation at site.
  • Movement of the boxes at customer site & unpacking activity.
  • Erection of the system as per the 3D.
  • Commissioning activities to ensure the readiness of the system for SAT.
  • Prepare the installation closure report & signed off from the customer.
  • Tracking of assigned hours for installation & actual hours utilized.
  • Fine-tune the SOPs time to time to meet industrial norms & upgradation of technologies.
  • Maintain the lean manufacturing philosophies during the implementations.
  • Identify & contribute for sustainable packing solutions.
  • Ensure the safe working culture during dismantling, packing & installation activities.
Qualification & Skills:
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years experience of working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques.
  • Proven mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of quality, cost, efficiency and safety.
