ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities:
  1. Responsible to deliver more performant MSQL database solutions along with implementation plan at enterprise level.
  2. Ability to monitor database performance and optimize it through tuning and indexing.
  3. Review existing stored procedures, identify bottlenecks, and optimize them.
  4. Ensure data integrity, security, and recovery processes.
  5. Troubleshoot database issues and perform timely resolutions.
  6. Ability to work with hybrid MSQL databases (AWS cloud).
  7. Verify batch jobs and their performance impact on databases and think out-of-box solutions.
  8. Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
Technical Skills:
  1. Strong proven knowledge in tuning SQL queries.
  2. Strong in writing MSQL stored procedures (TSQL).
  3. Review Database schema designs and provide suggestions from a performance angle.
  4. Help the team in identifying key indexes and how they should be structured based on schema and frequent query patterns.
  5. Identify runaway queries and provide quick solutions.
  6. Monitor systems health and performance using tools like Datadog.
  7. Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
