The Reference Applications Development team works on creating sample applications that demonstrate the functionality and integration possibilities of BTP services. These applications are bigger than hello world but not as complex as a productive application, and they are based on real business scenarios. We use these applications to educate external and internal developers on how to consume SAP technologies and thereby drive adoption of SAP technologies. These applications are also used for demos, TechEd sessions, partner workshops, learning courses, and for customer rollouts.We are looking for a tech enthusiast, someone who wants to learn and stretch beyond his/her own limits every day, someone who is willing to work on difficult projects that change our customers world.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Build applications that demonstrate integration possibilities
  • Create comprehensive guidance and best practices
  • Enable and support various development teams (internally and externally) to implement development best practices
  • Open to run end-to-end validation and DevOps activities for the team
What you bring
  • 3-7 years of experience in Cloud Native Architecture and design practices
  • Deep knowledge in Java. Experience / understanding of popular frameworks like Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Boot), Hibernate will be preferred
  • Knowledge in developing multi-regional apps will be preferred
  • Deep understanding of Distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and database design will be preferred
  • Fair understanding of SAP BTP, its services & deployment approach will be preferred
General
  • BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Creative thinking, with a willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Result-oriented and self-organized work style.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
